CCTV Works on the Bates Estate: Bates Estates residents disagreed that this was complete, Justine Harris confirmed there would be a follow up/update to this at the next North AP. |
Justine Harris/Chloe McLaughlin |
Housing has 6 mobile CCTV cameras which are deployed across the city in our fly tipping ‘hot spots’.
A visit to Bates Estates took place to look at possible CCTV locations. The fly tipping, although it is still occurring, is not as frequent as it was. The area identified as being the most affected by fly tipping unfortunately did not have a suitable location for the camera to go without the view being obstructed.
Cameras are next due to be deployed in December/January and Bates Estate is still on the list to be considered. If there is an area in particular that you feel is being fly tipped frequently, please report this to estatesserviceteam@brighton-hove.gov.uk. |
