The prevention of crime and disorder.

 

1.  A CCTV system shall be installedat the premises.

a)       The CCTV shall be maintained in good order and recordings shall be retainedfor at least 31 days.

b)      The correcttime and date will be generated onto both the recording and the real-timeimage screen

c)       The footagewill be made available for inspection by authorised officersof the Licensing Authority and the Police upon request.

d)      There shall be signs displayed in the customerarea to advise that CCTV is in operation.

 

2.  A staff member from the premiseswho is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system shall be on the premises at all times when the premises is open. This staff member must be able to provide a Police or authorised council officer copies of recent CCTV images or data with the absolute minimum of delay when requested.

 

Public safety

 

3.  An incidentlog shall be kept at the premisesand made available on request to an authorised officer of the City Council or the Police.It must be completed within24 hours of the incident and will record the following:

a)       all crimes reported to the venue

b)      all ejections of patrons

c)       any complaints received concerning crime and disorder

d)      any incidents of disorder

e)      all seizuresof drugs or offensive weapons

f)        any faultsin the CCTV system, searchingequipment or scanningequipment

g)       any visitby a relevant authority or emergency service.

 

4.  The Premises Licence Holder or nominated person shall ensure that all relevant members of staff receive trainingin their responsibilities under the Licensing Act 2003. Such training shall be documented, and records made available upon request from the Police or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.

 

The prevention of public nuisance

 

5.  Notices shall be prominently displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respectthe needs of local residents and businesses and leave the area quietly.

 

6.  A directtelephone number for the managerat the premises shall be publicly availableat all times the premises is open. This telephone number is to be made available to residents and businesses in the vicinity.

 

7.  The sales of hot food &drink are to be via the drive-thru facility only from 23:00 and the internal restaurant will be closed from this time.
