North Laine cycle permeability
Decision Maker: Environment, Transport & Sustainability Cabinet Members Meeting
Decision status: Recommendations Approved
Is Key decision?: No
Is subject to call in?: No
Purpose:
Requesting permission to advertise Traffic
Regulations Orders which create two-way access for cycle users on
specific streets in North Laine. This will enable BHCC to implement
a basic contra-flow cycle network in a concentrated area which
increases the city’s cycle network.
Decision:
That the Cabinet Member gives approval to advertise the proposed cycle contraflow facilities in a Traffic Regulation Order and that if any objections are received they would be considered at a future Environment & Sustainability Committee Meeting.
