Purpose:
The Visitor Economy Strategy is currently in
the process of development and will have an interface with both the
Economic Strategy and Cultural Framework. A presentation will be
given to the Committee to update them on the emerging themes and
the timescales for finalising the consultation draft.
Decision:
Resolved: That the committee notes and comments upon the content of the presentation and the plans for consultation and the further development of the Destination Management Plan, together with the intention to bring a report to its meeting on 21 June 2018, seeing approval to adopt the strategy.
