Purpose:
The Cultural Framework is currently in the
process of development in partnership with the Arts & Creative
Industries Commission, and will have an interface with both the
Economic Strategy and Visitor Economy Strategy. A presentation will
be given to the Committee to update them on the emerging themes and
the timescales for finalising the consultation draft.
Decision:
Resolved: That the committee notes and comments upon the content of the presentation and the plans for consultation and further development of the framework, together with the intention to bring a report to its meeting on 21 June 2018, seeing approval to adopt the framework and associated activities.
