Purpose:

To seek approval for public consultation on Main Modifications to the City Plan Part 2 arising from the examination hearings and required by the Inspector in order for the plan to be found sound. In accordance with 23 April 2020 Council resolution, these MMs will need to be referred to the council’s Tourism, Equalities, Communities & Culture Committee for approval before public consultation can commence.

Decision:

RESOLVED: That the Committee –

 

(i)             Agreed the Schedule of Proposed Main Modifications set out in Appendix 1 along with supporting documents (the Sustainability Appraisal and Health and Equalities Impact Assessment) for a seven week period of public consultation;

 

(ii)            Noted the schedule of consequential changes that will impact on proposed change to the Policies Map and the schedule of Additional Modifications set out in Appendix 2.
