Purpose:
To endorse an increase in allowances paid to
BHCC foster carers in order to compete with Independent Fostering
Agencies and adjoining Local Authorities in the recruitment and
retention of foster carers.
Decision:
RESOLVED: That the Committee agreed –
i. To increase fostering allowances as detailed in Option 2 in paragraph 4.2 of the report.
