Agenda item - Coldean Neighbourhood Plan - Decision Notice

23.1    Councillor Sheard introduced and formally moved the report.

23.2    Councillor Hill, Meadows and Fishleigh spoke on the matter.

23.3    The mayor put the recommendations as detailed in the report to the vote which was carried.

23.4    RESOLVED:

That Council agrees to:

1)    Determine that the Coldean Neighbourhood Plan be modified according to the recommendations in the independent examiner’s report and as set out in the attached Decision Statement (Appendix 1) and that the Decision Statement be published.

2)    Approve the examiner’s recommendation that the Neighbourhood Plan now proceed to a local referendum. The referendum area is the Coldean Neighbourhood Area.

3)    In the event that more than 50% of residents vote to support the Neighbourhood Plan in the local referendum, the Council formally ‘makes’ the Coldean Neighbourhood Plan.
