Agenda item - Adoption of Special Procedures for Budget Council

The Mayor will move the suspension of Standing Orders and the adoption of special procedures to be circulated with the addendum.

86.1.        The Mayor referred to the proposed special budget procedure rules that had been circulated and were detailed in the addendum, pages 1 – 6 and proposed that the Council procedure rules be suspended to the extent necessary to enable the meeting to be conducted under the rules as modified by the procedural note as circulated.

86.2.        RESOLVED: That the special procedural rules as circulated be adopted for the meeting and that the Council Standing Orders be suspended to the extent that it enabled the meeting to be conducted under the rules agreed.
