Agenda item - Re-Establishment of the Planning Policy Cross Party Working Group

Report of the Executive Director, Economy, Environment & Culture

RESOLVED - That the Committee agrees that a Cross Party Working Group for Planning Policy is set up in accordance with the terms of reference set out in Appendix 1 to the report.

10.1    The Committee considered a report of the Executive Director, Economy, Environment and Culture, the purpose of which was to seek agreement for the Cross--Party Working Group for Planning Policy to be re-established to continue to assist with advising on future planning policy documents and guidance. The updated terms of reference were set out in Appendix 1 to the report.

10.2    Councillor Nemeth stated that he fully supported the report but had identified some typographical which required amendment. It was agreed that these would be taken on board and the report and appendices amended accordingly.

10.3    RESOLVED - That the Committee agrees that a Cross-Party Working Group for Planning Policy is set up in accordance with the terms of reference set out in Appendix 1 to the report.
