71.1 The Chair gave the following communications, the new Business and IP Centre based in Jubilee Library has been operating online during lockdown, working with the Brighton Chamber to deliver support to local businesses. In February they held 18 online events and had 86 people attend them. These events included:
· Reset. Restart: workshops, individual and networking sessions*
· Business Information Clinics
· Workshops on how to use business databases
The Reset. Restart programme is for established companies, sole traders and micro businesses and start-ups less than three years old. It isdesigned to give people the skills they need to help get their business back on its feet. The Reset. Restart programme is being extended and the Business and IP Centre staff in Jubilee Library are working with the Brighton Chamber to re-run the workshops throughout April and May.
