Decisions for issue Proposed Closure of St Bartholomew's Church of England Primary School

RESOLVED:

1) That Committee agreed to the publication of a statutory notice in respect of the proposed closure of St Bartholomew’s CE Primary School with effect from 31 August 2024. The committee noted that publication of the statutory notice will trigger a four-week representation period which will run from 23 January 2024 to 20 February 2024 during which interested parties can comment on the proposal.

2) That Committee noted that following the representation period a further report will come back to a special meeting of Children, Families & Schools Committee on 29 February 2024. In the event that closure is recommended a final decision will be made by Full Council on 4 March 2024.
