Request Network Rail Remove Netting
We the undersigned petition Brighton & Hove Council to request that Network Rail remove the netting under New England Road rail bridge, BN1 4GG, first bridge as you walk up from Preston Circus, as birds get trapped in the netting and slowly die.
The netting has resulted in birds becoming trapped beneath the bridge, leading to injury and death. We are concerned that the continued use of this netting causes unnecessary harm to wildlife and ask the Council to raise this issue with Network Rail and seek an alternative solution.
