ePetition - West pier paddling pool

The children of the city, and tourists visiting, request that the paddling pool by the west pier be repaired and opened to the publuc urgently. There is currently a heatwave. Plus all city schools break up imminently for 6 weeks holiday period.
Many families are financially struggling and rely on free activities in the city to utilise during the school holidays. The water feature at Peter Pan playground has been removed, further reducing free play areas for our kids and grandkids.

Cllr Muten has stated that works to strengthen the road and arches will commence in September, so we as parents, carers, grandparents, aunties, uncles, nannies and tourists request that this much needed cooling down facility is not kept closed during the no works two month period.
