Saunders park view parking
We the undersigned petition Brighton & Hove Council to change the hours of the parking permits along Saunders park view.
People that live on the preston barrack site including the new houses on saunders park view, now park along Saunders park view between the current parking restrictions and in the evening and weekends. The preston barracks site is suppose to be a car free development.
This has effected the residents that lived here before the development was built. There is very limited parking along Saunders park view which has now been made worse by all the new houses and flats being moved into.
It will only get even worse when the newest blocks of flats along the end is opened. The problem has been ongoing and gets even worse at weekends and evenings when you don't need a permit.
Parking on double yellows, and in the turning circle has become regular especially at night.
If there is no parking along Saunders park view we then have to park the other side of Lewes Road.
Extend the current hours to 24 hours a day 7 days a aweek. Or make them 12 hrs a day including weekends.
The other end of Saunders park view has different restrictions? Why are we included in zone U which is the other side of Lewes road?
