Assign CPZ Zone for 139-145 Wellsbourne Residents
We the undersigned petition Brighton & Hove Council to After recently moving to Brighton, specifically to the address between 139-145 Wellsbourne on Preston Road, I was disheartened to discover that this area doesn't fall within any Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ). What seems particularly unfair is how some nearby buildings on the same street are part of CPZs K, W and J, effectively excluding our block. As residents, we pay substantial Council Tax, which funds amenities including parking provisions, yet we do not benefit from these services. This situation strikes me as inequitable and has prompted me to seek change.
Living in Brighton, where parking is a critical issue, having access to designated parking zones is essential for maintaining both convenience and quality of life. The absence of a CPZ for our address not only makes day-to-day life more cumbersome for us but also raises questions about the fair distribution of city resources.
I wish you will look in to that petition and make reasonable changes.
