Stop removing parking spaces from Zone M
We the undersigned petition Brighton & Hove Council to 1) Stop removing parking spaces from Zone M
2) Seek to replace all parking bays removed by the council in the last 5 years.
3) Reduce the price of Zone M residents and visitors permits so they are the same price across the city
Ten years ago it was easy finding a parking space in Zone M. Due to the effect of successive new council policies it is now becoming almost impossible to find a parking space at certain times of the day. The council as well as removing our parking spaces has now decided to charge residents in Zone M a premium for our residents and visitor permits. In addition to this the council is now trying to remove many more Zone M bays in 2024. Enough is enough and we are asking the council to reverse this anti-car policy.
