Nomination of a Councillor to serve on the 'Coast to Capital Local Transport Body'
The government requires local authorities and
Local Enterprise Partnerships to jointly set up Local Transport
Bodies [LTBs] to oversee the allocation and expenditure of
deveolved funding for major transport schemes. LTBs should be
accountable and include democratically elected members.
