Issue details - Submission of Air Quality Action Plan 2015

Under the provisions of Part IV of the Environment Act 1995 the local authority has a statutory duty to review and assess air quality in their area. In addition the local authority has a duty to submit an Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) to DEFRA following declaration of an Air Quality Management Area. The 2015 AQAP has been submitted to DEFRA and has completed a comprehensive consultation process both internally and with externally. Comments from DEFRA and feedback resulting from the consultation process have been included in the AQAP.
