Proposed changes and developments to the Council’s Youth Work Service
This reports sets out proposed changes to the
Council’s Youth Work Service in order to achieve the
£400,000 saving included in the Children’s Services
four year Financial Strategy. The changes take account of the
council’s sufficiency duty to: ‘secure services and
activities for young people aged 13 to 19 and those with learning
difficulties to age 24 to improve their well-being’ (Section
507B of the Education and Inspections Act 2006).
