Exceptional Request for conditional Community Infrastructure Levy expenditure
It is recommended to June TECC Committee that
decisions on strategic Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
expenditure lie with P&R Committee. Subject to this, this
report requests P&R Committee to agree, both exceptionally and
conditionally, CIL expenditure of up to £2m (of a total
payment estimated £6.9m for Toad's Hole Valley development)
towards trunk road junction improvements required by Highways
England at Devils Dyke Roundabout to mitigate the impact of
proposed development at Toad's Hole Valley (should planning
permission be granted by a future Planning Committee).
