Consultation process

Under the Sustainable Communities Act, the Council must seek to reach agreement with a panel of local representative persons over which proposals should be submitted to the Local Government Association. The City’s Stronger Communities Partnership is co-ordinating the establishment of a local panel and, with the Council, will be seeking to ensure that under-represented groups have the opportunity to get involved in the process.
