Consultation process
Under the Sustainable Communities Act, the
Council must seek to reach agreement with a panel of local
representative persons over which proposals should be submitted to
the Local Government Association. The City’s Stronger
Communities Partnership is co-ordinating the establishment of a
local panel and, with the Council, will be seeking to ensure that
under-represented groups have the opportunity to get involved in
the process.
